Indian Actress Genelia D’souza born in Mumbai, India on 5th august 1987. She still acted in different language films such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and in Kannada films. Genelia D’souza firstly appeared in Bollywood film in 2003, “Tuje Meri Kasam” was the first film for Genelia in Bollywood. She played role opposite to Ritesh Deshmukh. But after this Bollywood film she turns to South Indian Films Industry. One of the best hit Film of her in south was “Boys” which achieved big success in South India. Another successful Telugu films are “Happy” and “Sye”.
Now Genelia again started carrier in Bollywood films, and started making MONEY and the IMPRESSION in the film industries. “Mere Baap Pehle Aap” was the film which she acted opposite to Akshaya Khanna. Another blockbuster Bollywood film was “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, in this movie she played role of “Meow” as a sweet girl, this film was big success in India. In the Hindi movie “Life Partner” opposite to Fardeen Khan which was successful and also it is comedy movie, she played a role of wife of Fardeen Khan in it.
- Geneliya achieved “Filmfare Award” for Best Female Actress for Telugu Film “Bommarillu” in 2006, also she got “Santosham Award” and “Nandi Special Jury Award” for the same film in 2006.
