Tata DOCOMO Cheapest GPRS Mobile Internet Plans in India

TATA DOCOMO is cellular service provider in India. TATA DOCOMO gets much popularity with its new attractive prepaid lifetime plans. They also comes with very cheapest tariff plans like one paisa per second, which was innovative plan for all, and too many attracts on this plan and become its costumer. Tata DOCOMO also provides cheapest GPRS Plans to their prepaid customers. GPRS is known as General Packet Radio Service, which is used to surf or browse Internet on mobile or connecting to computer to use Internet. TATA DOCOMO charges on basis of per Kilobyte data usage, like one paisa per one KB. But 10ps/10KB is applicable only if you don’t you not activated any advance GPRS pack; 10ps/10KB is regular pricing. TATA DOCOMO introduces GPRS packs in different rates and Usages, which makes it cheapest Internet Plans provider.
TATA DOCOMO MOBILE INTERNET GPRS PLANS
- TATA DOCOMO GPRS Packs starts from rupees 5 to 65 rupees. We go through each plans or packs.
- 5 rupees GPRS pack: with this pack you will get 50MB of free data usage; this pack validation is till midnight of day of activation. If your usage 50 MB is finished then beyond usage charges will be 1 paisa per 20 KB. To activate this pack you can send request message example: GPRS to 121.
- 15 rupees GPRS pack: With this 15 rupees TATA DOCOMO GPRS plan you will get 500 MB of free data usage, its validity will be for 3 days from activation. If you use beyond 500 MB then 1 paisa per 20 kilobyte charges will apply.
- 33 rupees GPRS pack: This GPRS plan is monthly plan with only night usage of 1 GB (gigabyte). This 1 GB you can use only in night 11 PM to morning 7 AM. You can’t use your 1 GB free data usage in day time, if you use Internet in day then normal charges will apply. This pack validity is 30 days.
- 48 rupees GPRS pack: This is TATA DOCOMO GPRS plan; (Tata Docomo make changes in this pack in some periods) you were getting 1 GB of usage to use Internet. This pack validity is 30 days. (before it was 2GB, now its reduced to One GB). Now again plan changed: on recharge of 48 rupees you will get 1 GB data usage for 21 days.
- 65 rupees Internet pack: This is Tata Docomo latest monthly plan, on recharge of 65 you will get 2.5 GB usage with 30 days validity.
- 95 rupees GPRS pack: This is also monthly GPRS plan with large free data usage. You will get 6 GB free usage to use Internet, its validity is 30 days. (May be this pack is withdrawn, please confirm it to retailer before recharging)
Kindly note that, this above all information is from Karnataka and southern states of India and Information collected on (Nov 2011) & may be plans vary with other states. Before going to any GPRS plans please confirm with your retailer or customer care executive.
TATA DOCOMO GPRS Settings
To use TATA DOCOMO GPRS plans all you need is GPRS/EDGE enabled mobile to use Internet. If you have GPRS enabled mobile then you need Internet settings in it to use GPRS Mobile Internet. To get that setting you have to send request by sending message “INTERNET” to 52270. Once you send you will get internet settings by company you now just have to save it. Now restart your mobile and hence you can start browsing now.
If you want to use Internet on your PC or laptop then you need GPRS enabled handset and it data cable or Bluetooth connectivity to connect PC. Then you have to install you mobile connectivity PC-suite to the computer. Once your PC-suite is installed on computer then do connect your cell to PC and go to Internet connection in PC-suite and do below settings.

APN: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
Dial number: *99#
Username and password must be blank.
Now you can dial to internet connection and now it is easy to browse Internet on your computer.
How to Check Tata Docomo Internet Usage:
You can check you remaining free data usage by sending request message: “BAL” to 121. or *111*1#

Yes Nitin, They have made changes in there plans, with recharge of 48 rupees they giving only 1GB usage now. Before one month it was 2GB.

Oves don't get confused, for 48rs you will get 1 Gb for 21 days. Docomo change this pack some months back, before it was for 30 days.

nw, using videocon, wen docomo changes the 48 rs plan 2 21 days and 15 to 3 days. Videocon 1 month 2 gb jst 58 rs. Super speed also. I compared it wit docomo.
